to the 3 Minute Pop Miracle Project Redux. We've got 29 of the original 30 Miraclers back, as well as 24 new people. That's, like, 53 weeks of miracles!

In addition to the fab music sharing aspect of the 3MPMP, you can expect more surprise email-based sweepstakes for Nights of Pop (former shows included Teenage Fanclub, Ween, and Fountains of Wayne), as well as groovy social events in SF (sorry, out-of-towners! But feel free to host yer own).

HOW THIS WORKS

So, this is a weekly prodge. Each Miracler takes one turn creating a mix of ~20 songs deemed the best ~20 songs ever created (without repeating anyone else's stuff). This time around, every genre's welcome, despite the Popness of the Project's name. A new mix will be released here each Monday at noon PST. Once up, each mix will stay up for TWO WEEKS, and then be taken down forever. So make sure you check back weekly for the new stuff.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD MIRACULOUS MIXES (THERE'S ONE READY FOR YOU RIGHT NOW!)

The 3MPMP Geek Squad has chosen Pando.com as the file-sharing site of record. It's free, easy, and it works on PC's and Macs. You'll need to download the Pando software once and then you're ready to download all upcoming 3MPMP mixes. Ready?

1: Get Pando
If you're on a Mac, use Safari. For all platforms, go to a Miracler's mix and click DOWNLOAD. This will download the Pando software to your computer. Pando offers both paid and free options--pick the free one.

2: Quit Pando
Once Pando is installed, QUIT PANDO.

3: Download the mix (Part 1)
Then come back to this site and click the same DOWNLOAD button again. This time, Pando will download an icon representing the Miracler's mix to your computer. YOU'RE NOT DONE YET. Read on.

4: Download the mix (Part 2)
Now go to your DOWNLOADS folder on your hard drive, and double-click the mix. This will cause Pando to start and to begin downloading the mix. Downloading will take 10-15 minutes. So, go get a cup of coffee. Pando works best when you're not using other software at the same time.

PLEASE NOTE
Pando can crash sometimes (you get what you pay for). But hang in there--it WILL work. You might need to quit and restart the Pando software if it's giving you trouble. But most times, it works fine.

5: Drag the mix into iTunes
FOR PC's: Pando should automatically drop the mix directly into iTunes on your computer. If it doesn't, just drag it in manually.

FOR MACS: The mix is probably living in a folder on your hard drive called "Pando Packages." Go there and drag the music from that folder into iTunes, and you're done.

6: Start enjoyin' those miracles!

WHEN IT'S YOUR TURN

Take a look at the dates to the right and see which is yours. A week before your date, you'll receive an email with E-Z instructions for uploading your stuff (your mix and cover art). Please be ready to go the day before this date so that the 3MPMP Quality Assurance Dept. can test it prior to the Monday launch.
