About AC
You might remember Mr. Hat Trick '09 for having made us this, this, and this, or possibly you're recalling what happened after, or how some nice stuff happened from that and how we're 3 mixes and a few new Miraclers richer for it.

Today Andee stretches 45 minutes into 1.2 hours, but, like, he owns a record store, so should we say no to his piling extra sounds on us? As Track 2 might answer, "Thank Us Later."

Mix is up; same password. See you back here or on our every-kiss-begins-with-K, members-only Facebook page soon.

Come back next week for our first Very Special Episode. And keep the great comments going! Commenting at least once every month is nice, and also how you stay in the group. XOK

Andee! Seeing you here ain't the real thing but it's better than nothing.

You've outdone yourself: This is on fire! And not too boy jangly at all. On the contrary, arty, psychedelic, epic. And I've not heard of one thing here — not one.

OK, random comments, backwards

Royal Baths may be the greatest thing I've ever heard except We Have Band. I love that I have no idea from what era it hails — it could be any decade post 1960.

A not unusual thing out of my mouth: I dig the Women! Fucking strange, beautifully so.

Violens: dreamy, funky, swirly.

Grayson Gilmour: ibid, minus the funky.

Buke and Gas: arty pop that's not contrived (although there's nothing wrong with that)

Gauntlet Hair has that Editors sound you like — although I like the fucked upness of this better — like that gorgeous breakdown in the middle.

OK, Boris Yeltsin is a little boy jangly. But it sounds great.

Floating Vibes is adorable.

Pens: dig the heavy reverb.

No Joy: do you detect a theme? I'm into all this dreamy, reverby shit.

We Have Band: perfectly delicious.

The closer it gets to my mix, the more trepidation I have in listening to other mixes. God forbid somebody cop one of my songs. Turns out, I'm safe for another week (although 'Floating Vibes' was under serious consideration). And I only wish I'd come up with Grayson Gilmour. Love that.

good, consistent mix. I had no idea so much well crafted noise pop was still being recorded. I particularly like the Jaill & Goodnight Loving tunes -- good beat & pop structure.

Thanks for sharing, Andee.

There's some great stuff on here. Takes me a little outside my comfort zone, but it's good to go there on occasion. For me the keepers are What's In It For, Piano, Sink/Let It Sway, Loose Change. Really interesting mix and very enjoyable.

I can't get enough of the Surfer Blood and Avi Buffalo tracks ..... mmm-good. Shows there's still interesting music to be had with words, guitars and drums - without a ton of studio overproduction and sampling BS.

I can't get enough of the first 3 songs...this mix feels so old somehow, like a long lost but so treasured mix tape.
many thanks!

This mix is packed with great stuff that's all new to me.

Fave tracks (ready?): 1, 2, 6, 7, 10, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, and 22. All in my ever-expanding best-of-Season 4 playlist.

Thanks, Andee, for again turning us on to fab new super-pop!

The Avi Buffalo cut was instantly one of my favorite songs from the past few years.

Wow. I've been quite passive 3MPMP-wise due to the holidays (a very busy time of year, musically speaking, for me... but that's another story), and now I'm trying to catch up and --bam! Some awesomeness in the house! Of course Andee having a shop he was going to be a total hit in our car stereo, what with a few current faves (Avi Buffalo, Happy Birthday, The Drums) and some amazing discoveries (Jaill, The Soft Pack). Yay!!! Thank you Andee, thank you 3MPMP.

What's not love? Oddly, despite the fact that I haven't even heard of most of these bands, there's one track I was considering for an upcoming mix (Die! Die! Die!). Really enjoying this and I've pulled several tracks into my play all the time playlist. Thanks Andee!

Yeah, the Avi Buffalo here as well as on that other mix makes me want more of his thang! Also that Surfer song so freakin catchy. I liked the progression in this mix too, I heard it in a different order the first time for some iTunes reason, but discovered I liked the mix as a whole the way you ordered it. So so tasty!
Thanks!
