Bonus Friday: Claphappy!

Date: Friday, October 17, 2008

Miracler:
Doug Patterson

Location:
San Francisco

Doug Patterson is an American hero and all. And a walking riddle. Like, he can be simultaneously both super cantankerous AND super sweet. Maybe he’s a Libra or a Gemini or something. Here’s another puzzle: he fly fishes (rugged) but loves opera (girlie). He’s got mud all over his vehicle (manly dude) but cries every time that amputee enters the room in “The Best Years of Our Lives” (menstrual chick). Okay, maybe in this day and age no single gender should own any of this stuff. But you get what I mean. Anyway, by day, Doug plays that handsome creative director from Mad Man and by night plays a sensitive/rugged husband to his hot superhero wife, Dena. Now you can say Doug gave you the clap and really mean it.

Hey Now.

I've got this mix playing through our system at work today (to get the blood moving).

I've hear two shouts out that "these tunes are infectious."

I've even heard some clapping.

Thanks for the love.

Thank you for giving us all the clap.
Good things come from putting your hands together.
Well done Doug!

That's what I wanted to say "Doug's got the clap" in last week's email subject line. I'm so limited by those people over at SpamFinders.

Fab mix, Doug. Nothing but nothing can go wrong when this stuff's playing.

XOK

This mix is positively infectious. It reminds me of the story of the fiddle player and his magic dancing cat, who terrorize a kingdom. As long as the cat dances
everyone around him does too whether they want to or not. As these things go, it didn't end well. People where dropping like flies and the king had to give 'em trunks of gold to get 'em to move along. As I sit here gyrating and head bopping I'm thinking, there could be worse ways to go, no?
